I have recently fallen in love with wholemeal, oaty pancakes for breakfast. The other recipe on my blog has greek yoghurt in it which is really tasty but I recently tried one with honey in it and I love it even more. I just used basic unbranded clear runny honey and it tasted brilliant. Give it a whirl….
Ingredients: (6 large pancakes)
275ml milk
125g porridge oats
75g wholemeal flour
2 tablespoons honey
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Method:
Combine all the ingredients. Make sure you sift in the flour so it’s not lumpy and service with your favourite topping. For some healthy topping ideas see my greek yoghurt based pancake!
